Thank! The actual k&n videos didn't confirm if the oil goes on both sides of the flat filters. I found the directions and verified it does say to touch up both sides but makes it seem as some have said to be very conservative on the MAF side of filter.

I have the Morelli on my ‘78 Fiat 124 Spider 1800. O’Reilly tested my battery and recommended I replace the Voltage Regulator. Is that a simple replacement? Just unplug the old one and plug in the new one, or are other adjustments needed?

Are these actually two different sensors? I replaced both with the one you identify as the engine temperature sensor. Should I have got a different one for the overheat switch?

On the first model, what is the expected output voltage of the yellow cable going back to switch the dashboard light? Thx

Couldn't you remove the supply line from the rigid line at the top, then remove the plate? Then you would have easy access to the hose clamp. Fasten the new hose at the tank, and feed it up through the plate. Then install the plate, and connect the hose to the ridge line.

I am still trying to remove the Bosch "Focus" No. 2 default adapters without destroying my new blades. The above video does not help; it does not even resemble the structure of the Bosch "Focus" blades. I am sure I could overpower it with pliers or a screwdriver, but not knowing the internal structure and what holds it in place, I could do serious damage to my new $35 each blades in the attempt. Once I get the first one off, I will know what is holding the second one on.

Also another question...does this sytem requites condenser?

what ignition coil you use (I see that its Bosch). Is on this ignition system required special coil? Or it can be used ordinary old type coil from mehanic ignitin?

man it actually takes a long time for the filter to dry completely after rinsing. I wonder how many people actually dab the filter with tissue paper to confirm it's dry before oiling. anything soaked in water like that won't dry naturally in less than 8 hrs unless in sun

Both sides of the flat filter? I think not. That would put the MAF sensor in danger of getting coated and failing. Only the side that faces the outside air!

I been working on my FIAT 1976 for 3 years now and this was a great help.

Question. Why would spray the oil on the intake side instead of the side that actually catches the dirt and run the risk of oil traveling to your air mass sensor? My guess, if you just spray the "dirty" side, the oil with catch all the dirt and keep it contained. the side that is supposed to stay dry....will stay dry and clean.

I have this filter but I'm nervous about the oil, I've heard it can ruin the maf flow sensor , don't know how true this is

I bought the Bosch h251 rear wiper, it comes with an adapter similar to this. But I haven't figured out how to remove the old and replace with the new. It certainly doesn't clip out as shown. Any help appreciated

Looks like a bit too much oil for me. I usually spray the enough amount where the air is coming from, and just a little bit the side that faces the intake, just very little, in order to not damage de maf sensor and have incorrect readings.

Brush is a good idea! I cleaned my KN filter just recently and couldn’t reach the tight places to get rid of the smaller particles. A brush would have worked! Next time!

Set your meter to the primary setting !!...... you need to show the meter setting to the viewers, so get educated well .... not every viewer know what is the "primary setting"
